Hopefully this will clear up a lot of the questions I see people always asking. Please do let me know if I have missed anything that you think I should include in this guide.

Skills

Feeling

Feeling is a skill that, when you cast it, will memorise the map that you are currently on. The level of feeling you cast determines what the map is set as.
Here is what the different levels do:

Level 1 will designate the map you are on as Place of the Sun
Level 2 will designate the map you are on as Place of the Moon
Level 3 will designate the map you are on as Place of the Stars

Now by itself feeling doesn’t do anything, so on to. . .

Warmth

Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination
Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination
Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination

Warmth is a skill that creates a barrier around you that will hit for 100% of your attack and will knock the target back 2 cells. If the monster is a boss monster it will not receive knockback and will be hit crazy fast. Each time the barrier hits it will take 2sp, even if it misses it will still take 2sp. The three warmths (Sun/Moon/Stars) can only be used on their respective maps, so:

Warmth of the Sun can only be used in Place of the Sun
Warmth of the Moon can only be used in Place of the Moon
Warmth of the Stars can only be used in Place of the Stars

Before I explain comforts you need to know about the day system.
The day system is thus:

The Sun shines brightest on even days (2nd, 4th, 6th, etc known as Day of the Sun).
The Moon shines brightest on odd days (1st, 3rd, 7th etc Day of the Moon).
And the Stars shine without fail on every 5th day (5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, etc Day of the Stars).

It’s worth remembering that so do make a concerted effort to do so.

Comfort

Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination

This is where it gets a little bit more complicated. Comforts can only be used on certain days of the month AND only on their respective maps. So:

Comfort of the Sun can only be used at Place of the Sun and on Day of the Sun
Comfort of the Moon can only be used at Place of the Moon and on Day of the Moon
Comfort of the Stars can only be used at Place of the Stars and on Day of the Stars

The comforts each do different things
Comfort of the Sun will increase your Vit def depending on your base level, dex and luk stats.
Comfort of the Moon will grant you increased Flee depending on your base level dex and luk.
Comfort of the Stars will increase your aspd depending on your base level, dex and luk.

Hatred
Hatred is pretty much like feeling, except it lets you set 3 monsters instead of 3 maps. Simply select the level you wish to use and then cast it on a monster, exactly like a single target magic spell. Each one has its own restrictions explained below.

Hatred level 1 = Target of the Sun (for small size monsters only)
Hatred level 2 = Target of the Moon (For medium size monsters with a hp higher than 6,000)
Hatred level 3 = Target of the Stars (For Large size monsters with a hp higher than 20,000)

Also like feeling, this skill does nothing on its own. It needs other skills in order to act.
It’s worth noting that Feeling and Hatred are completely independent of one another, your hatred targets will work on a map that hasn’t been designated by Feeling.
For example: you set High Orcs as your target of the Moon, this is global all high orcs will be your target of the Moon regardless of where they are in the world.

Anger

Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination
Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination
Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination

Anger grants bonus damage on the targets you set with Hatred.

Anger of the Sun will grant bonus damage on your Target of the Sun
Anger of the Moon will grant bonus damage on your Target of the Moon
Anger of the Stars will grant bonus damage on your Target of the Stars

The amount of bonus damage it adds depends on the level of Anger you have, your dex and your luk. For Anger of the stars str also affects the bonus damage.

Blessings

Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination
Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination
Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination

These grant more exp from your Targets of the Sun/Moon/Stars only on the Day of the Sun/Moon/Stars.
Blessings of the Sun and Moon grants 150% normal exp while Blessings of the Stars grants 200% exp.
For example, blessings of the Sun will only grant you bonus exp on Day of the Sun when you kill a Target of the Sun.

Resetting your Feeling and Hatreds
Currently there is no way to reset these, so be careful when you set them. If you mess up you will have to remake your SG!

Miracle mode
Miracle is a state which occurs when attacking (and maybe walking?) at a very low chance. You’ll know when you get it because it will appear as though you have been Soul linked and the world will go a blue colour. It allows you to use any Warmth/Comfort/Anger/Blessing regardless of day, map, monster size and monster hp. All monsters will become target of the stars and gain the associated bonuses.

How to use warmth to kill stuff

Killing normal monsters is tough on SG, the way to do it is to use the pushback effect of heat to push the monster backwards into a wall where they will die pretty much instantly since they can’t be pushed back any more.
Killing boss monsters is a lot easier, just put heat on and stand right next to them. Easy, right?

Low budget gears and leveling:
File:SItem Rideword Hat.gif Rideword hat [1] (grants you the ability to drain hp and sp by a low chance when attacking)
File:SItem Angel Spirit.gif Angel of Ghost (+2str +15hit)
File:SItem Magni's Cap.gifFile:SItem Odin's Blessing.gifFile:SItem Stone Buckler.gif Magni set is also something you may want to consider if you have the money for it; it adds quite a lot of defence, some str and some mdef.
For accessories you’ll want anything that increases STR.

Budget Weapons
File:SItem Bible.gif Bible [2] is quite good as it is a lot less expensive than Book [3]. I would recommend that you card it with two Racial/Element cards or two hunterflys to reduce your restorative item usage.
Hardcover Book [1] is also a good choice as it's a level 4 weapon with a high base atk value but only one slot.
Giant Encylopedia [2], a level 3 weapon with a base atk not as high as hardcover [1] but still not a bad book.

Use prison or churchyard to get yourself to a decent base level as a SG (maybe 75ish) by setting Prison/Churchyard as one of your feelings. Do not use Hatred there though! You need to save it for galions. Galions are boss monsters and so do not get pushed back when they get hit by warmth and so will be killed very fast indeed. Set them as Target of the Moon to gain bonus damage and additional exp. Be sure to use Warm wind level 1 and a double Mandragora bible to maximise your damage.
Try to up your str first when levelling there with moderate vit and enough dex for 116 hit.

High budget gears and leveling:
There are two main areas for you to level, one is Dimensional Gorge and the other is Odin temple 3.
Your weapon should be for both these areas Drac TG Phree or Drac Abysmal Phree.
Drac Abysmal Phree will do more than Drac TG phree in both locations and is quite a bit less expensive.

Odin temple

Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination

This map is the easier of the two; the gear is:
File:SItem Lord Kaho's Horns.gif Kaho

ESL

Alice

Angeling

File:SItem Brisingamen.gif Celeb/Meg/Spring Rabbit/Hell poodle/Bris

If have two soul linkers or marry one of your own linkers on SG then you can use kaahi on your Gladiator, this will vastly reduce meat consumption and make your levelling a lot more efficient.
If you want to build a dedicated Odin SG then go ahead and set Odin temple 3 as Place of the Sun for a defence bonus on even days, if not set it as Moon or Stars.
Setting blue skeggs as your target of the sun is a little more challenging (blue skeggs because they give the most exp and have the higher defence of the two). I find the best way to do it is to begin killing the skeggs with warmth, the slaves will die first leaving only the boss, which you can easily target and set as your hatred.

The stats that I personally use for Odins is:
90+str
80vit
41dex
41luk

and with Fenrir's:
6x str (for powerup)
80vit
Rest into a balance of dex and luk

This may not be the best build for you, but it should serve as a good starting point.

Dimensional Gorge

Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination

This map is a lot harder than Odin Temple.
It is highly advised to set this map as Place of the Sun to be able to use comfort of the Sun. Most of the gear is the same as Odin temple however. The difference in gear being that you don’t need to use Spring rabbit/Hell poodle, you need a GTB swap from Alice if you wish to solo and you will need Pasana/Bathory armours.
I advise you use hatred level 3 on the valkyrie incarnation and hatred level 2 on either the Human crawler incarnation or the Golem/Mud incarnation.

So the gear set would be:

Alice/GTB shields

File:SItem Megingjard.gifFile:SItem Brisingamen.gifFile:SItem Celebration Ring.gif Megs/Bris/Celebs

If you want to solo:
Kaahi is pretty much essential there; critical wounds will reduce the amount recovery items heal on you so they are not advised. You will also need to client a high priest there to buff yourself with, the HP is less essential if you have High priest fire armor. By yourself you will also need to swap to GTB when fighting Valkyrie incarnations to prevent dispel if you do not have a pair of Fenrir's boots. This is due to the vastly increased killing speed with Fenrir's, it reduces the chance of a valkyrie incarnation managing to dispel you.

If you want to party:
All you need is a HP to follow you around and keep you safety walled and buffed, you won’t need to swap armours or shield, just keep Alice and Bathory on and you’ll do fine.

The build I use here is:
70str
80vit
80dex

With Fenrir's the build is changed slightly:
6x str (under 70 to allow powerup)
80vit
70dex
50luk

Again, this may not work for you but it will serve as a good start point for you to formulate your own build.
