Front page/menu links open new window/tab...

I'm not sure if anyone's going to check this page, but can we have a vote or discussion about menu links? (Example: Home link opens a new window, even though it links to a wiki page - Website and Forums links are fine because they are not part of the wiki.)
Personally, I use Ctrl+click, Shift+click, or middle mouse button (scroll wheel click) to open a link in a new tab, but I don't think I have a way to do it in reverse (to open in the same window). :(
This is more inconvenient for me, but am I the only one who feels this way? If so, I'll just endure. I just wondered if anyone else is bothered by it. --Aena (talk) 11:52, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
