Greetings, everyone. I realize that it may be difficult to keep track of what's going on, so I have made a page specifically to track tasks. Feel free to add items to the end of this list, strikeout, remove, or reword tasks that have been completed wholly or partially, or claim tasks by signing your name next to them. Use the Discussion page to explain incomplete tasks in greater detail.

  • Complete the base "Beginner's Guide" article. Lead the player from the end of the "Start-up Guide" to the second job change. As long as it is workable, it is fine. Players in the future will be able to add their own input and advice.
    • Consider including a "Related Guides" or "Further Reading" section that links to the player-created beginner guides.
    • Revision : Make separate articles for the first classes.
  • Clean up the "Events" category page.
    • Have fun adding pictures! If you would like to take screenshots of automated events for this page, please let me know. I will see if Skoll is willing to help activate certain events for the sake of screenshots if any of you are available.
  • Move "War of Emperium 2.0" to a section within the "War of Emperium" article.
    • Things to include : list of castle(s) in 2.0, list of mechanics differences between standard WoE and 2.0 maps, and explanation about the different castle defense system.
  • Create the "Faction War" article. Make "Direct Assault" a section within the larger Faction War article.
    • I am requesting for PR-SX-0806 to help write a synopsis to introduce and explain the conflict as thoroughly as desired.

New:
Custom content articles take priority over official content, as players can currently use our wiki alongside iRO Wiki or RMS as necessary.

  • Front page, Wolf Game description : Kaeri and Adellie, as previous participants in this game, would either of you mind helping with the brief description for the Wolf Game?
  • Front page sidebar, "Database" section : Please add a link to the category "Customs" to provide a quick, easy link for players.
    • Add content to the "Customs" category to help direct new players who are already familiar with RO through other servers.
  • Items Category : Replace the Meat icons with other item icons.
  • Quests Category : Add the access quests for New World areas. Add access quests for Biolabs 4, Rachel Sanctuary, Nameless Island, and Moscovia if you have time.
  • Guides : Do not worry about transferring any more guides right now. The external links are fine for the time being, so please focus on other articles for wiki release.
  • Poring Wars article needs to be created.
  • Job Agency article needs to be created. Information about the Job Agency revamp can be found at http://www.anesisro.com/forums/index.php?topic=119969.msg2982437#msg2982437
  • Battlegrounds article needs to be created.
  • Bloody Branch Rooms article needs to be created.

These articles need work only if you have free time and want to work on them:

  • Professor Bill : I do not know what we want to do with this considering it seems to just be a fetch quest. Aena, your character is on the Bill's Leaderboard, so perhaps you have an opinion about what to do with this? If not, I will ask Nidhogg for more details.
  • Mercenary article : OK! We can ignore this page for now since I don't think many players take advantage of this system. This can be last if we get to it.

Re: Page titles "Pets" vs "Pet"

I would like to know the verdict on this so we can start making these pages consistent asap. I was dumb at the start of this project and changed a bunch of pages to singular noun titles.... due to both

 [[Super Quest Item]]s
 [[Super Quest Items]]

producing the same result: Super Quest Items

And then i thought it would be easier if the page title was singular, for when you're talking about it in a sentence. (ie. If the title was plural, you couldn't use "Click here to see the Super Quest Item ingredients".) Anyway, sorry all. i realize we can have unlimited redirects so it really doesn't matter at all....

My vote goes to plurals (( Adellie (talk) 12:18, 27 August 2013 (UTC) ))

Understood. I had the same observation about the existing links when I first looked at the front page. My thought is this: If I do not want to find it on the main page and just want to search quickly for a list of pets, I will likely search for [list of] pets, plural, rather than pet, singular. If we missed making a redirect page, that still brings the player directly to the target page. More for consistency, we do not need to explain what a guide is, so the "Guides" page makes more sense in plural than singular. Making other pages plural keep them consistent with that. There is no need to apologize, however. =) *Ai

I'm okay with plurals. --Aena (talk) 23:04, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
