UPG Smith is a Custom Quest NPC who will upgrade your regular gear to a golden upgraded version. He requires a +7 version of the equip along with 20 Gold, 100 Light Granule, 50 Elunium and a fee of 100,000 zeny. Upgraded armors generally have boosted MHP or MSP, and upgraded weapons generally have boosted ATK/MATK with possible refine bonuses.

*There is a 10% Chance to fail.
*Carded items, as with all other methods of enchant, will be lost with the upgrade.
