Although the Scholar does not boast the sheer power of the Lord Knight or High Wizard, the inventive use of his methods are his keys to victory. Sage and Scholar are bestowed the chance to remove an enemy's shield, removing the enemy's ability to nullify magic with the Golden Thief Bug card. This allows the Sage or Scholar to Dispel enemy status enhancements and, if desired, to play with further offensive magical skills.
